This position plays a pivotal role in leading critical programs in the aviation industry and is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation and launch of solutions for Hughes.

This position can be located at either our Germantown, MD or Lisle, IL offices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear, actionable product vision and strategy for aviation solutions in line with company goals and market needs.
- Own and manage product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives, market trends, and customer feedback.
- Manage the product life cycle from concept to obsolescence.
- Craft compelling go-to-market strategies, create product documentation, and train internal teams to communicate the value of the products effectively.
- Leverage knowledge of satellite communication systems to guide product design, development, and integration. Collaborate closely with R&D and engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with market needs.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, conduct market research, and assess competitive products to inform product selection and ensure our offerings remain innovative and competitive.
- Manage strong relationships with customers, aircraft manufacturers, vendors, partners, and key stakeholders, providing regular updates and meeting their needs and expectations.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience.
- Prior experience managing all phases of the aviation product lifecycle, including product research, design, development, testing, certification, production, maintenance and support.
- Prior experience in product development, roadmap development, and/or market research.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, aerospace, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of in-flight entertainment and connectivity systems and satellite communication technology.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence a variety of stakeholders to establish concurrence.
Will be eligible for discretionary bonus, with funding based on company performance.
